How it all began
Isealate was founded in 2016 by Bengt Erik Gunnarsson. The Isealate team has grown since then and worked hard to develop a new type of tubing patch that incorporates the benefit of both steel and epoxy with an efficient and reliable wireline deployed running tool.

Development has been supported by Shell, Total, OGTC, and Innovation Norway over the years. We are proud to have Welltec® as a significant shareholder and global partner in 2022. This integration allows us to bring this unique technology to more operators with a partner with a long-proven track record. In the meantime, this enables our team to focus fully on further patch technology development.
